Google Earth

https://earth.google.com/web/

In the last year Google Earth has really outdone itself.  You can now run Google Earth on the Chrome Browser with out needing a download.  The updated Google Earth, has also added Voyager, a showcase of interactive, guided tours.  You can also uncover exciting new places with the "I'm feeling Lucky" button.  Google has created over 20,000 different places around the world that are worth exploring.  Once there, you can open up a new “Knowledge Card” that will offer more information and history about the place in question.  A few other features worth playing with are the 3-D view and street view.  My 10 year old son can not get enough of the street view. :-)
If you have not played with Google Earth in the past year, take a look.  I promise you will not be disappointed.
A fun place to start is, This Is Home.  This is a special voyager that takes you on a journey into traditional homes from cultures around the world.
