Creative Use of a Docment Camera

Mrs. May's butterflies were due to hatch over spring break, so we decided to set the document camera up to take pictures every 10 seconds during the 3 day period they were expected to arrive.  This video is a series of still pictures showing 5 butterflies emerging from their chrysalis.  Thank you Bonnie Feather for the great idea!

  1. Video may need to buffer for a few minutes. The internet is running very slowly today..

  2. This is wonderful! I have a document camera (one of the "older" ones). I would love for Mrs. May to show me how to do this! 2 thumbs up! Bravo, hooray for technology in the classroom!

  3. The first thing you need to do is download the current software for AverMedia. It should be on your G:Drive;however, you can get it online. Let me know when a good time would be and I will stop by and show you how to do this. It is very simple.. The computer does all the work :-)
